I’m a multi-disciplinary designer with a background in art and theory. Currently, I work as a Senior Designer at Google, solving design questions and generating creative ways to frame the questions.
At Google, I was the lead motion designer on the Pixel phone and Android OS, a platform that serves over 2 billion people globally. I’ve received 15 patents for my design work (such as this public one: 820852S1).

I’ve also worked within a horizontal futures team, which reached across smartphones, TVs, cars, laptops, wearables, etc. The work was akin to speculative design, although we call it “design strategy” because it is grounded in translating research into alternative and provocative new ideas that point the way to a long-term vision.

I received a BA in Illustration and Motion from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, but really ended up somewhere between the Fine Art and Graphic Design departments by the time I graduated.
